Eugene Laverty from Toomebridge was forced out of the Czech 250cc Grand Prix at the Brno circuit on Sunday. The LCR Honda rider had qualified in 24th position on Saturday but failed to complete the race and remains on three Championship points for the season.
Aprilia rider Jorge Lorenzo from Spain extended his lead at the top of the standings as he won ahead of Andrea Dovizioso and Mika Kallio.
The next event is the San Marino GP on 2 September.
