Jonathan Rea is still looking for his first British Superbike win
Jonathan Rea took two second places in Sunday's fifth round of the British Superbike championship at Snetterton.

The 20-year-old led early on in both races but was overhauled on each occasion by double race winner and HM Plant Honda team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari.

Marty Nutt was best privateer in both events, finishing 20th and 16th.

Lisburn's Ian Lowry took his first race victory in the Supersport class with his Relentless TAS Suzuki team-mate and series leader, Michael Laverty, second.

Omagh's BJ Toal was sixth in the Virgin Media Cup race and in the Superstock category, John Laverty finished third and Alastair Seeley from Carrickfergus 11th.

Nikki Coates failed to finish the 125cc race.
