Cameron Donald rides for the Uel Duncan Honda team |
Cameron Donald has been ruled out of the 2007 Isle of Man TT after suffering a compound fracture of his collarbone at the North West 200 on Saturday. Donald crashed at Juniper Hill chicane during the main Superbike event.
The Australian underwent surgery on Sunday and is expected to leave hospital within a couple of days but will not be fit for the centenary race.
The Uel Duncan Honda team have no plans to replace Donald who finished second in last year's Senior TT.
The 28-year-old lapped at over 129mph on his way to securing that podium success.
The Duncan team, supported by Robinson Concrete, will still field Scottish rider Keith Amor at the Manx event, practising for which begins on Saturday 26 May.
Donald had started his season with a brace of wins at Cookstown and followed that with a victory at the abandoned Tandragee 100 meeting.
