Pedrosa has had two podium finishes in the opening three races |
Honda's Dani Pedrosa should be able to ride in the Chinese MotoGP on 6 May despite crashing out on the opening lap in Turkey last weekend. The 21-year-old was involved in a multiple collision that also included Olivier Jacque, Colin Edwards and Chris Vermeulen on Sunday.
He was put in a neck brace following the crash but doctors have said that there is no evidence of any fractures.
The Spaniard will remain in the brace for four to five days.
He is also being treated with pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs but hopes to be fully recovered for the fourth round of the championship in Shanghai.
Pedrosa is third in the world championship standings behind Valentino Rossi and leader Casey Stoner.
