Crockard up to fourth in series |  Crockard has been hampered by injury in recent seasons |
Gordon Crockard moved up to fourth place in the British MX1 motocross series after achieveing two impressive results at Desertmartin on Saturday. The Newtownards rider was sixth in race one and fourth in race two while Ballyclare lad Martin Barr took eighth and 11th positions. New Zealander Jos Coppins won both races with championship leader Ken De Dijcker second on both occasions. Scot Billy Mackenzie was a double MX2 winner but Carl Nunn leads the series.
