Reynolds won the Superbikes title for the third time last year |
British Superbike champion John Reynolds suffered a broken leg during testing in Spain. Reynolds was nearing the end of his first day on the new GSX-R1000K5 Suzuki when he slid off the Valencia circuit.
It was revealed he had broken the tibia and fibia in his right leg and team boss Robert Wicks said: "We're trying to determine the best treatment."
Team-mate Scott Smart, who made a successful debut, said: "I am gutted for JR and wish him a speedy recovery."
