Northern Ireland's Jeremy McWilliams finished 13th in the final MotoGP race of the season in Valencia on Sunday. The Aprilia rider from Glengormley collected three world championship points from the race to finish the season in 19th position on 26.
World champion Valentino Rossi won the race from runner-up Max Biaggi with Troy Bayliss in third.
It was 25-year-old Italian Rossi's ninth win of the year, guaranteeing his factory Yamaha outfit the team title.
