Rutter was overhauled by Reynolds |
Championship leader John Reynolds took advantage of a bad day for rival Michael Rutter in round nine of the British Superbike Championship. Reynolds and Yukio Kagayama secured a Suzuki one-two in race one, as Rutter was sixth, and he failed to finish race two, in which Reynolds came second.
"I came here determined to outscore Michael, but he was unlucky to crash out," said Reynolds.
"He'll be back fighting. There's still a long way to go in the championship."
