| Barros delighted by new Yamaha ![]() Alex Barros (right) left Honda on a high note Alex Barros is already dreaming of winning the 2003 MotoGP title after just one test session aboard his new Yamaha. The Brazilian is confident after his first outing on the YZR-M1. He left Honda following his victory in the final Grand Prix of the season last weekend. "The Yamaha is just as good as the Honda and I have already started to ride quickly with it," said Barros after testing at Valencia's Ricardo Tormo circuit on Tuesday. "This factory bike is the opportunity I have been waiting for throughout the 16 years of my career and it will give me a dream chance to be able to fight for the MotoGP title." Italian Max Biaggi, who finished second to Valentino Rossi in the 2002 championship on a Yamaha but has now switched to a Pramac Honda, also tried out his new RCV211V for the first time. "It is a little bit different but I am pleased with the decision I have taken," he said. "It will take time to get experience on this bike, everything is very new to me." | See also: 03 Nov 02 | Motorbikes 31 Oct 02 | Motorbikes 20 Oct 02 | Motorbikes Top Motorbikes stories now: Links to more Motorbikes stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
