| Walker hurt in crash ![]() Walker has moved from Kawasaki to HM Plant Ducati HM Plant Ducati's new signing Chris Walker has broken his left ankle and tibia in a crash in Belgium. The Nottingham rider was competing in a supermoto race meeting at Mettet when his bike hit a tyre wall. "The circumstances behind the crash remain unclear," said HM Plant Ducati team manager Colin Wright.
"However, I have consulted with the medical team dealing with his injuries and they have assured me that he will be available to ride in the next four to six weeks. "Chris is a fighter and I know him well enough to say that it won't affect him that much as we prepare for our pre-season test schedule. "So, if everything goes according to plan, he'll be making his debut on the HM Plant Ducati in December." Walker, who was signed by the team to replace Neil Hodgson, will join new team-mate James Toseland for testing as soon as he has recovered from the injury. | Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Motorbikes stories now: Links to more Motorbikes stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
