![]() | Suzi Perry ![]() Suzi joined the BBC Superbikes team in 2000 Suzi Perry joined BBC Sport as the presenter of its World Superbike Championship coverage in February 2000. She had previously worked as a reporter and presenter on coverage of the World Superbike Championship, the FIM Grand Prix Series and Elite League Speedway, all for Sky Television. She has also presented the BHP-produced show Chequered Flag (shown on NBC in America), hosted the Carlton TV motorsport programme Pulling Power. She guest-presented on the Meridian and Discovery TV travelogue series Ridge Riders. Suzi also reports on motorsport stories for Sky Sports News, and writes regularly for Superbike Magazine, interviewing top biking celebrities. Away from sports broadcasting, Suzi is perhaps best known as one of the co-presenters of BBC ONE's successful daytime series City Hospital, which is broadcast live from Southampton General Hospital. Suzi has also appeared in a variety of TV commercials and presented corporate videos. She is a keen supporter of First Gear and On Two Wheels, two Youth Clubs UK initiatives whose aim is to encourage young drivers and motorcyclists to act responsibly on the road. Suzi enjoys most sports and travelling worldwide.
