Renault boss Eric Boullier has confirmed he is in discussions with Proton, owners of the Group Lotus brand, over a possible sponsorship deal for next season. However, he claims he is also in contact with other potential sponsors.

Pastor Maldonado will join Hispania Racing Team for three days of post-season testing. The Venezuelan had been linked with a 2011 seat at Williams before Nico Hulkenberg's pole position at Interlagos, and he will also test with the Oxfordshire-based team.
