Red Bull's Mark Webber has blown his chance of becoming the first Australian to win the Formula 1 title in 30 years and will not get another, according to compatriot and triple champion Jack Brabham. (Full story: AAP)

Renault reserve driver Jerome d'Ambrosio is "95%" certain to be driving for Virgin Racing in Formula 1 in 2011. That is according to Renault team boss Eric Boullier who is also d'Ambrosio's manager.

Hispania Racing driver Bruno Senna is being lined up for a switch to Lotus in 2011 where he will partner Heikki Kovalainen according to reports in Senna's native Brazil.

The addition of Bulgaria to the Formula 1 calendar could mean the end of the sport's Hungarian and Turkish rounds. That is the claim of organiser and Bulgarian motor racing official Bogdan Nikolov, who said this week that a contract for a debut race in 2012 could be signed as soon as next month. Michael Schumacher says he has been impressed with his Mercedes GP team and the encouraging performances in recent races. He is in confident mood as they head to Interlagos in Brazil, a circuit where he has won on four occasions.
