BBC PUNDIT EDDIE JORDAN'S 2010 REVIEW

"I said at the start of the season that Red Bull were the team most likely to upset Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes and they have swept the board in 2010 winning both championships.

"Chief technical officer Adrian Newey is for me the best designer in Formula 1 and the team were rightfully crowned constructors' champions in Brazil.

"Sebastian Vettel should have had his championship wrapped up a long time ago but he made mistakes as well as suffering reliability problems and had to wait until the last race of the season.

"Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has managed a very difficult situation with both Vettel and Mark Webber and it is credit to him that fairness prevailed in the end."

MEET THE BOSS - CHRISTIAN HORNER

What is F1's biggest challenge?

To continue to reduce costs, whilst not detracting from the show.

Does F1 need road-car manufacturers?

F1 needs a balanced combination of independent teams and road car manufacturers. However, it is vital that regulations prevent costs from spiralling out of control.

Will having more teams on the grid make F1 more competitive?

I don't believe it will make a difference to the front of the gird, but it will add more depth this year. Already on many occasions the first 15 cars were split by less than a second.

Will non-refuelling change F1 for the better or worse?

Time will tell. Hopefully for the better as the emphasis will be on overtaking as opposed to strategy.
