F1 team review - BMW Sauber Nick Heidfeld 2009 Season StatsLast updated: Thursday, 15 November 2012 12:33 UKBBC COMMENTATOR MARTIN BRUNDLE'S VIEW "Nick Heidfeld eclipsed Michael Schumacher's record of consecutive Grand Prix finishes when he crossed the line for the 25th consecutive race in Barcelona. "And that statistic tells you everything you need to know about the BMW Sauber driver; he is Mr Reliable. "Heidfeld has made the best of a bad job with the 2009 car and has kept pumping in the points and the finishes. "The 32-year-old is a dependable racing driver and despite BMW Sauber's exit from the sport, he might yet find himself on the 2010 grid. "If the new-look Sauber team secures a place on the grid then they could do a lot worse than keeping Heidfeld on board. Others may be interested too." HEIDFELD TAKES OUR DRIVERS' TEST
