The French Grand Prix track at Magny-Cours is not one of Formula One's most popular destinations.It gets a mixed reception from the drivers. Some, like Jarno Trulli, like it; others, like David Coulthard, think it a joke of a Grand Prix track. It is smack bang in the middle of nowhere with an atmosphere so calm and rural as to be non-existent, although the food provides some distraction. Historically, Magny-Cours has often produced soporific races.
