The US Grand Prix finally has what seems like a permanent home - and appropriately it is at the circuit that is synonymous with American motorsport. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway - host of the famous Indy 500 - is a venue steeped in atmosphere and history.
Sadly, the Grand Prix track, which twists around the infield of the high-speed oval, does not live up to its illustrious surroundings.
It is too tight and twisty, even if the long straight does allow good racing.
