Sepang made quite an impact when it made its debut in 1999 - it is beautifully designed, has a challenging layout and wonderful facilities.
Built on land that was formerly jungle near Kuala Lumpur's new international airport, the track exposes the drivers to inevitably hot and humid conditions.
That makes Sepang's demanding curves all the greater test.
