Bernie Ecclestone says he plans to continue running Formula 1 for years to come. Ecclestone has been named by prosecutors in Germany investigating alleged bribery but the F1 supremo says: "I don't worry about this a bit. The end [for me]? Of course not."

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo predicts the Italian team will win more races in the second half of the season. Montezemolo ran his eye over updates planned for the Belgian GP and the design of the 2012 car.

Pirelli have revealed their tyre choices for the next three grands prix in Belgium, Italy and Singapore. The tyre supplier will bring the medium and soft tyre to Spa and Monza and the soft and super-soft tyres for Singapore's night race.

New Jersey has emerged as a potential stop on the Formula 1 circuit after the mayors of Weehawken and West New York revealed they are in talks with a group of investors to bring the sport to the US state as soon as 2013.

Williams chairman Adam Parr says he wants to see more races on the calendar, even though some teams have balked at the 21 GPs pencilled in for the 2012 season. Parr says: "We might have to look at the format of the weekend but we could do a couple more races."
