Webber unwound after the European GP with a seat in the royal box at Wimbledon

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner hopes Mark Webber can keep up the momentum after the Australian finished third at the European Grand Prix. Horner added: "It was Mark's best race of the season in terms of his performance on the tyres."

Williams have strengthened their technical department by appointing Jason Somerville - who used to work for the team until 1999 - as head of aerodynamics and ex-McLaren man Mark Gillan as chief operations engineer. Technical director Sam Michael and chief aerodynamicist Jon Tomlinson are leaving the team at the end of the season after resigning.

Ferrari say they cannot wave a "magic wand" over the car to make it capable of catching the pacesetting Red Bull at the next race in Britain. "The Scuderia will bring a few updates of an aerodynamic nature to England, but it would be unrealistic to expect these to overturn the current rankings," the team said.
