Nelson Piquet Jr has been talking for the first time about his fateful decision to deliberately crash at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. On the crash itself he says: "I hit the beginning of the 14th lap [and] it felt like my heart might jump out of my body. I was incredibly scared, it was like a dream. I felt no pain on impact, but the adrenalin was pumping." He explained his decision to agree to the plan as "a way to please" former Renault boss Flavio Briatore.
