Former Renault Formula 1 team boss Flavio Briatore thinks only a "disaster" will prevent Ferrari's Fernando Alonso lifting his third world crown this season. Briatore also believes the battle for the title is now down to two drivers he manages, Alonso and Red Bull's Mark Webber. "For Vettel it's impossible, Hamilton the same. The only two who can win are Alonso and Webber," said Briatore. "They needed to take advantage of the fact they had the best car," said the Frenchman. "It's doubtful they will have the same advantage next year, so you have to say they have mismanaged this season. I think they've missed a great opportunity," added Alesi. Full story: The Sun Another ex-Formula 1 driver, Gerhard Berger, who drove for both Ferrari and McLaren, has accused Mark Webber of trying to take out his title rivals during the race in Korea. In an interview with Austrian TV, Berger said: "He took out Rosberg, but it was the wrong one. I think in his mind he would have preferred Alonso or Hamilton." Asked to clarify whether he thinks Webber's move was deliberate, Berger added: "Yes, I think that's very clear." Whitmarsh said: "We are still very much in contention with Lewis. But there is little doubt now the championship decider is going to be in Abu Dhabi, which is great for Formula One."
