Korean Grand Prix, Yeongam, 22-24 October Race: Sunday 0600-0915 on BBC One, Red Button, online and Radio 5 live Full coverage times Barrichello upset by Schumacher block Mercedes driver Michael Schumacher has been reprimanded for blocking Williams's Rubens Barrichello during qualifying for the Korean Grand Prix. Both drivers made it into the top-10 shoot-out despite the incident in second qualifying and Schumacher apologised to his former team-mate. But Williams driver Barrichello was still irritated after the event. "I'm a little bit sad because it's only luck that I passed on to Q3 because he really slowed me down," he said. "I am a down-to-earth guy, a very cool guy, which means I have a lot of respect even for the slowest cars and to the quickest ones. So we all make mistakes and we are allowed to make a mistake and to apologise. Schumacher sorry for blocking Barrichello "He just came to apologise, in a way that the team didn't tell him [I was there], but I was on a fast lap and you know, you have mirrors, and you have everything, and you cannot count on everything from the team. "I don't want it to become very personal, we had problems in the past, we still have problems in some situations like in Hungary." Schumacher was given a 10-place grid penalty for dangerous driving after pushing Barrichello up against the pit wall as the Brazilian attempted to overtake him in Budapest in August. Schumacher was quicker to apologise in Korea than he was in Hungary, when he did so in a statement a day after the race. The Mercedes driver, who drove with Barrichello at Ferrari from 2000-5, said: "The team keep me informed who is pushing, who is on flying laps, he was behind me, but I hadn't been informed, so I assumed he was on a preparing lap just as I was. Sorry if I held him up, it wasn't meant to be." The stewards ruled that that "irrespective of the Mercedes team's opinion that car nine (Barrichello) was not on a 'fast lap', it is ultimately the driver's responsibility to be conscious of closing cars via the use of mirrors and blue flags/lights".
