Alonso received a drive-through penalty for the Kubica incident

F1 race director Charlie Whiting says Ferrari were advised three times that their driver Fernando Alonso should let Renault's Robert Kubica through during the British Grand Prix.

Whiting said: "On the radio, I suggested to them that if they exchange position again, there would be no need for the stewards to intervene." (Autosprint Magazine)

Felipe Masasa says he will talk to Ferrari team-mate Fernando Alonso about the contact between the pair on the opening lap of the British GP. "I'll talk to Alonso to find out why he has touched my car. You really must not touch your team-mate's car."
