McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh is delighted with Lewis Hamilton's fourth place finish in the Australian Grand Prix, but admits the team's car is not fast enough, and did not "deserve" to do so well.

Hamilton was later promoted to third after a penalty for Toyota's Jarno Trulli.
