Massa expects Ferrari improvement
Ferrari driver Felipe Massa
Massa currently lies fourth in the drivers' championship
Ferrari driver Felipe Massa believes this week's Turkish Grand Prix will herald a revival for the Italian team.

Ferrari trail McLaren by 19 points, while Masa is behind Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen in the drivers' standings.

"Istanbul is the first of a series of quick tracks and I think these will suit us particularly well," said Massa.

"Last year from Turkey onwards I had a great championship, so that is an encouraging sign."

The Ferrari cars have looked impressive on some of the quicker tracks already this season with Massa winning in Barcelona while Raikkonen triumphed at Silverstone.

Meanwhile, world champion Alonso is hoping to make it third time lucky in his 100th Grand Prix after finishing second for the past two years.

The Spaniard trails team-mate Hamilton by seven points after the controversial Hungarian Grand Prix, where the two drivers were not on speaking terms.

"It is always great to have a break and recharge the batteries, but it is fantastic to be getting back out on track in Turkey," said Alonso.

"I have a solid points total in the drivers' world championship and I am aiming to build on that in Istanbul."
