Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen says he could have won all three Grands Prix this season if he had performed better during qualifying. The Finn is level on points at the head of the championship with McLaren's Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, but says he should be clear of his rivals
"I think 22 points is a good amount, but I could have got all the available points," said Raikkonen.
"It can't be denied that the main problem is in qualifying,"
Raikkonen won the Australian Grand Prix from pole position, and has since finished third in both Malaysia and Bahrain.
"I'm sure we can be stronger if we can optimise the car's performance," said Raikkonen, whose team-mate Felipe Massa won in Bahrain.
"Our race pace is good and we can go up against anyone but over the single lap we are not there yet.
"If you are not up with the front runners right from the start then you can say goodbye to the chance of winning."
The 27-year-old, who has 10 Grand Prix wins to his name, joined Ferrari from McLaren last year.
