Schumacher and Brawn have forged an incredible partnership |
Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn has responded to speculation about his future by saying he will reveal his plans at the end of the season. Autosport magazine quoted sources as saying it was "100% certain" that Brawn would take a sabbatical next year after 10 seasons at the Italian team.
But the Briton said: "We will make the plans known at the end of the season.
"We certainly won't make any comment before that. We are concentrating on trying to win this championship."
A Ferrari spokesman added: "It's just speculation."
Brawn, 51, has masterminded all seven of Michael Schumacher's titles.

Two of them came with Benetton in 1994 and 1995, with another five at Ferrari from 2000-2004.
"I love the team. Ferrari is a fantastic team, a fantastic group of people," he said.
"When you first go to a team, your first job is just to sort out the dramas. When I went to Ferrari, there were a lot of day to day things that needed to be put right.
"When we got over those initial hurdles, we had to start thinking about building for the future because none of us are going to be there forever."
Brawn said that Ferrari had been planning for some time for an eventual succession to key people, with Italian Aldo Costa already taking over most of the duties of chief designer Rory Byrne - who could retire when his contract runs out in 2007.
"I think you've seen with Rory, who has been a great servant of Ferrari for the past few years, that we've successfully brought on his successor in Aldo Costa," Brawn added.
"We've had a very good evolution there and there's evolutions going on throughout the whole organisation.

Brawn's future with Ferrari is likely to be closely linked to that of Schumacher.
The German driver, 37, has yet to announce whether he is racing on or retiring next year.
Many in F1 believe he will opt to end his career on a high if he succeeds in overhauling Renault's Fernando Alonso to win the championship again.
