Drivers have voiced their concerns over the Monza circuit which will host the Italian Grand Prix this weekend. The problem centres round the second chicane, which world champion Michael Schumacher believes has no place on a circuit as fast as Monza.
"It has been a worry to us for many years," said the Ferrari driver.
"The cars are on the edge all the time. It seems more forgiving now because you can feel you're going to lose it earlier so you can correct it earlier."
Championship leader Fernando Alonso agreed with Schumacher's sentiments, but said he enjoyed the thrill of driving at Monza.
"It's always the same here at Monza in low downforce," said Alonso.
"It is a little bit difficult to drive the car and to brake at high speeds.
"From a driving point of view we like it, but at the same time you think it's a little bit dangerous driving at 350kph, and if you have a brake or mechanical problem then always there is a big accident.
"Hopefully everything will be OK for everybody and hopefully we will see a good show."
