Klien finished 13th at Monza |
Christian Klien has been given the nod to drive for Red Bull Racing in next weekend's Belgian Grand Prix. The Austrian, 13th in Italy on Sunday, is sharing the team's second-driver slot alongside David Coulthard with Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi.
Klien said: "It's great to have another chance to race for the team."
Liuzzi last raced in the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in May but may still be given a chance to prove his potential in the final three races.
The two men are vying for a full-time drive alongside Coulthard in 2006.
Liuzzi and Klien are both proteges of Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz, the energy drink magnate who bought the Jaguar team last November.
Red Bull are sixth in the championship with 27 points.
