 Gene spent four years with Williams |
Spain's Marc Gene has joined Ferrari as a test driver after four years in the same role with Williams. The 30-year-old made three race appearances as a stand-in for Ralf Schumacher during his time with the Williams team.
Gene's last competitive drives came at the French and British Grands Prix in July, but he failed to shine.
He was replaced by Antonio Pizzonia for the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim later the same month.
