Michael Schumacher is concentrating on wrapping up Ferrari's sixth successive constructors' championship in Sunday's German Grand Prix. The German can take a record-equalling 11th win at Hockenheim, but he is focused on his team, who need to score 13 more points than Renault.
"We would rather do it here - it would be nice for our fans," said Schumacher, who can also claim his 11th win.
"It could mean that we could have a good celebration afterwards."
Ferrari have 174 points, with Renault second on just 79.
However, Schumacher admits he feels the opposition are closing the gap on his dominant Ferrari team.
"I definitely do," he added. "We live from the fact that we almost always get 100% out of our package."
