Montoya is set to join McLaren at the end of the season |
Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya could be summoned to a meeting of Formula One's governing body, the FIA, to explain his conduct, according to reports. Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport and France's L'Equipe say that Montoya will face the FIA in December after failing to fulfil commitments to them.
The Williams driver had reportedly given a commitment last year to attend the launch of a road safety campaign.
But he pulled out of the event two days after the US Grand Prix.
The race in Indianapolis saw Montoya given a drive-through penalty after a collision with Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello.
