British American Racing's Takuma Sato has been relegated 10 places on the grid for Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix after an engine failure in practice. He completed nine laps in Friday's first session but missed the afternoon.
"It's been a disappointing day for me," said Sato, whose team-mates Anthony Davidson and Jenson Button set the fastest times.
"On the positive side, the car is working well as far as we can see from the other two cars."
