Jaguar's Mark Webber vowed to learn from the experience after an eventful Malaysian Grand Prix ended with him crashing out on lap 23. "It was one of those days when you learn and we have got to build on it," said Webber, who had qualified second.
"It's not the best when you stall on the line. Then Ralf Schumacher gave me a puncture, I got a pit lane speed penalty and then I spun."
"Mark was pretty aggressive. Maybe it came from his slow start," Ralf said.
"I was trying to overtake Mark but then I realised there was not enough room and I backed off, trying to avoid a collision. However, Mark didn't give me enough space."
Webber's race began badly when he got away from the front row slowly and was passed by Rubens Barrichello, Juan Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen and Jarno Trulli on the run down to the first corner.
His right rear tyre then suffered a puncture after a light touch from Ralf Schumacher's front wing as the German passed him on lap five.
Webber's frustration was compounded when he was penalised for speeding in the pit lane as he came in for new tyres.
And his race came to a premature end when he spun on the final corner of lap 23.
