Michelin admits tyre worry
Juan Pablo Montoya's Williams and its Michelin tyres were outpaced by Ferrari in Australia
Williams and Michelin need to bounce back in Malaysia
Formula One tyre supplier Michelin admits it could struggle in this weekend's Malaysia Grand Prix.

Michelin - who supply Ferrari's main rivals - has been the top hot weather performer while Ferrari's Bridgestone tyres are better in the cool.

But Michelin's F1 manager Pascal Vasselon is not optimistic.

"We have had to develop tyres for these hot conditions at European circuits during the winter. This makes it hard as conditions are very different."

To make matters worse Bridgestone's technical chief Hisao Suganuma, is upbeat about his company's ability to cope with the heat.

"We have tested long and hard for races like Malaysia and the time has come to see if we have done our homework," he said.

"We know we have made important improvements and I'm looking forward to showing off our progress - just as we did in Melbourne."
