Montoya talks up title chances
Juan Pablo Montoya
Montoya finished third in last year's championship
Juan Pablo Montoya says he is confident Williams will give him a car capable of winning this year's world championship.

The Colombian finished third in the championship last season and was in with a chance of the title until the year's penultimate Grand Prix.

The new Williams FW26 car is due to be unveiled on Monday in Valencia.

"The team has done an excellent job, and I firmly believe we will have an advantage in 2004," said Montoya, who is in his third year of F1 competition.

"Even though a driver is involved in the technical development of a new car, the launch is something special.

"It feels just like Christmas - you know roughly what you are going to get but you're not exactly sure."

Montoya is moving to McLaren at the end of next season.
