Next year's British Grand Prix has been moved back a week, avoiding a clash with the Euro 2004 football finals and the Wimbledon men's tennis final. The Silverstone race will now take place on 11 July, with the French event pencilled in a week earlier.
The French event has been given a second chance following cash problems.
Ticket prices will be significantly reduced, with new categories of seating replacing fixed-price tickets, British GP organisers said.
Three-day tickets will start at 90 for adults and 30 for children - if puchased before 1 March 2004.
Last season, the cheapest available ticket for an adult was 115.
"We believe the new pricing offers better value for money to everyone," said Silverstone managing director Andrew Waller.
An early booking discount has been introduced for the first time while grandstand prices are determined by location rather than a flat-rate fee.
Waller added: "We made it clear at this year's British Grand Prix that we would review pricing for 2004 and we've honoured this commitment."
Tickets for Silverstone go on sale from 8 December.
