The death of Ayrton Senna will be commemorated by a number of events at next year's San Marino Grand Prix. The three-time Formula One champion was killed in a high-speed crash during the San Marino GP on 1 May 1994.
Organisers of the race, held at the Imola track near Bologna, said there would be 10 days of ceremonies.
These would include a friendly football match between former Brazilian World Cup stars and F1 drivers, and a show of cars Senna drove during his career.
The "ImolAyrton" ceremonies will be focused on the days of the 2004 San Marino GP, scheduled for 23-25 April, and will last until 2 May.
Senna was killed when he crashed after losing control of his Williams-Renault while leading the race, for which he had taken pole position.
The Brazilian won 41 Grands Prix in his career, a mark that has been surpassed only by Michael Schumacher and Alain Prost. Senna still holds the one record that has so far eluded Schumacher - he took an incredible 65 pole positions in his 162 Grands Prix.
