BAR test driver Anthony Davidson is looking forward to showcasing his skills next season following a rule change in Formula One. The bottom six teams in this year's constructors championship will be allowed to run three cars in the Friday practice sessions on race weekends.
"It is priceless to be able to learn all the tracks that are on the calendar," said the British driver.
"And I will be in the limelight for two hours of Grand Prix practice."
The new rule stipulates that teams cannot use drivers who have competed in more than six races in the previous two seasons.
Davidson has only driven in two F1 races, for Minardi in 2002, but three of his compatriots will not be able to take advantage.
Allan McNish drove for Renault in 2002, while Justin Wilson and Ralph Firman, who are not yet certain of drives with Jaguar and Jordan respectively next season, are also ineligible.
