Premier League newcomers Leicester are one rider away from finalising team plans for next season after signing Richard Hall on loan from Sheffield.

And Lions promoter David Hemsley believes the newly-constructed circuit at Beaumont Park will suit Hall.

He said: "Richard is an out-and-out racer who has produced many fine performances during his career.

"The track is designed to provide exciting speedway and I am sure he will take advantage of the racing lines."

Hemsley added: "John has been signed on a loan agreement arrangement with his parent club and he will occupy a second string position in the main body of the team."
