Plymouth Devils' National Trophy meeting against Weymouth on Friday has been postponed because of heavy rain. The Devils were due to take on the Wildcats at the St Boniface Arena in the first of two National Trophy ties, with the return leg on Saturday. Plymouth chairman Mike Bowden said: "The overnight rain left the track unfit for racing." The Devils will now travel to the Wessex Stadium to take on Weymouth on Saturday night. Plymouth boss Mike Bowden has kept faith with the side that overcame Bournemouth 49-41 last Friday. The Devils have already beaten Weymouth twice at home this season. Weymouth will be led out by ex-Plymouth rider Tom Brown, with support coming from James Cockle and South African Byron Bekker.
Plymouth: Nicki Glanz, Jaimie Pickard, Matt Bates, Seemond Stephens, Mark Simmonds. Reserves: David Gough, Ben Reade. Weymouth: Byron Bekker, Danny Halsey, Tom Brown, Karl Mason, James Cockle. Reserves: Richard Andrews, Gary Cottham.
