Complin was injured in Berwick's derby defeat by Newcastle

Berwick team boss Dave Peet has opted not to bring in a rider replacement for Lee Complin as he believes the current line-up can cope with his absence.

Complin is out with a fractured arm sustained against Newcastle and until his return other riders within the team will fulfil his race commitments.

"This is the rider-replacement regulation and has a couple of real advantages," Peet said.

"It will stimulate even more team spirit among a squad which is bonding."

Berwick are still waiting to hear how long the former Stoke Potters rider will be out.
