Blackhorse Kawasaki boss Ian Lougher says he is delighted with Manx pair Conor Cummins and Dave Pearce as they continue testing in Albacete, Spain. Lougher told BBC Isle of Man: "Both the lads are looking really good and it is shaping up to be a terrific season." Cummins had a hugely impressive season last year and says he is constantly learning from the experienced Welshman. The 22-year-old said: "Last year was a fantastic year and I will be looking improve further in 2010." Last year the Manx rider finished in the top 10 of the British Superstock Championship as well as claiming two podium finishes at the Isle of Man TT. Meanwhile, Pearce is using his time in Spain to get used to the ZX-6R machine ahead of the BSB Junior 600cc Superstock Championship.  Pearce is in Junior 600cc Superstock for riders aged 16-24 |
The 16-year-old said: I'm still getting used to the extra power and I've got a lot to learn in a short space of time, but I am confident I will get it." Lougher added: 'I've no doubt it will be a steep learning year for David, but he has a great attitude and is clearly determined and keen to learn. Lougher will contest all the major International Road Races in 2010.
