Dungannon racer Ryan Farquhar set a new race record as he claimed his third successive Senior Classic win at the Manx Grand Prix on Wednesday. Farquhar also broke the lap record twice on his way to victory, with his fastest lap being timed at 110.984mph. Oli Linsdell also smashed the lap record on two occasions but was forced to retire on lap three at Keppel Gate. Veteran Wattie Brown finished in second place and Andy Reynolds completed the top three. Meanwhile, Manxman Chris McGahan won the Junior Classic, with Paul Coward second and Dave Madsen-Mygdal completing the podium. Elsewhere, Ewan Hamilton won the Lightweight Classic from Peter Symes and Isle of Man rider Ian Rycroft, who was third. All three races were run at the same time. The session saw one minor incident in the Junior race, with Ivan Lintin slipping off his machine at Sulby Bridge without injury.
