Stoke Potters are still waiting for their first away win in the Premier League after losing 57-35 to Workington Comets on Sunday. The Potters were forced to use rider replacement for captain Lee Complin, who was ruled out with a wrist injury. Without Complin, Stoke found themselves trailing by 10 points after 10 heats with the home side leading 35-25. Jason Bunyan (13) and Tom P Madsen (11) both performed well, but Workington ran out comfortable victors. Potters team boss Nigel Crabtree said: "The lads battled but we are not making the starts out of the gate." "I felt we were still in with a chance of gaining a point out of the meeting after 11 heats as we were only 10 points down and we normally come on strong towards the end of the meeting. "But the match just ran away from us as we seemed to run out of steam."
