Top Crump - Championship leader Jason Crump dominated the British Speedway Grand Prix from first to last
The 33-year Australian broke Tony Rickardsson's record for Grand Prix wins by bagging number 21 in style with victories in each of his races at the showpiece meeting in front of 42,000 fans at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium
But there was some cheer for home fans with Coventry rider and 2007 British SGP winner Chris Harris reaching the semi-finals and securing his best result of the season so far in the fifth round of the campaign
And like his Coventry team-mate, Scott Nicholls also enjoyed his best showing with a six-point haul
And Nicholls was also in the thick of the action off the bike when Emil Sayfutdinov took exception to being run wide in heat five, a dust up that earned the Russian teenager a 375 fine while Nicholls was hit for 315
Back on the bike Crump held off the challenge of Wolverhampton-based speedster Fredrik Lindgren in the final to take the spoils, with Poole rider Hans Andersen third and American veteran Greg Hancock in fourth
It was record-breaker Crump's third win of the season and he is clearly getting a taste for the bubbly
His five-star show made it five wins at the British Grand Prix and he now boasts a 31-point championship lead
