Seeley maintains unbeaten record

Alastair Seeley
Alastair Seeley has amassed a maximum of 45 points

Alastair Seeley made it three wins from three starts in this year's British 1000cc Superstock Championship by taking victory at Donington Park.

The Relentless TAS Suzuki rider came in nine seconds ahead of the field and now enjoys a 28-point lead in the series.

Ballyclare teenager Jamie Hamilton won the Superstock 600cc race.

Lisburn's Ian Lowry was eighth in the opening Superbike race and sixth in race two while John Laverty secured two ninth place finishes on his Kawasaki.

Leon Camier and James Ellison took the Superbike race wins.

Seeley led from start to finish to continue his domination of the Superstock 1000 class.

The Carrickfergus rider has 75 points, while nearest challenger Steve Brogan boasts 47.

Marshall Neill finished eighth while Seeley's Suzuki team-mate, Omagh's BJ Toal, failed to finish.

"The bike has been quick since the start of the weekend and I was below lap record pace again in the race," said Seeley.

"The K9 Suzuki is unbelievable and I just seem to gave gelled with the bike.

"Now I'm off to Thruxton next weekend, another of my favourite tracks."

Hamilton enjoyed his first success of the campaign after missing the first round at Brands Hatch for economic reasons and then finishing 14th at Oulton Park.

Jamie Coates crashed out unhurt on the opening lap.

Fermanagh's Lee Johnston was 10th and Marty Nutt 21st in the Supersport 600 race.

That race was won by last week's double North West 200 winner Steve Plater.

Magherafelt rider Paul Jordan finished eighth in the 125cc race - over 19 seconds behind winner Martin Glossop.
