Ryan Farquhar won two races at the 2008 Cookstown 100

A host of top road racers will contest the Cookstown 100 road races at the Orritor course on Saturday 25 April.

Ryan Farquhar, Keith Amor, Adrian Archibald, Conor Cummins, Gary Johnson, William and Michael Dunlop, John Burrows and Ollie Linsdell all compete.

Cummins is unlikely to race at many Irish national events this year but rides McAdoo Kawasakis at Cookstown.

A total of 50 newcomers have entered, with an 18-race programme scheduled, and roads closing at 1000 BST.

Roads will close for practice at 1430 BST on Friday 24 April.

The event will feature the first round of the newly revived Ulster Road Racing Championships.

Darren Burns, Barry Davidson, Nigel Moore, Davy Morgan, Andrew Neill and John Walsh should also be contenders at the County Tyrone race.
