Ridley-Holloway had a career best finish at Croft

Devon racing driver Jonathan Ridley-Holloway finished a in a career best seventh place in the fifth round of the Clio Cup at Croft last weekend.

The 23-year-old from Barnstaple missed out on sixth place in the first race by just 0.3 seconds in his Total Control Racing Clio on Sunday.

"I'm really happy with the performance I showed on Sunday, pace wise it wasn't bad at all," he said after the race.

Ridley-Holloway was 12th in Saturday's opening race.

He had crossed the line in 14th position, but one driver in front of him was given a time penalty and another was disqualified.

The result moves Ridley-Holloway into 20th place in the standings, just three points off breaking into the top 15.
